Finding Instant Manifestation

Freya Ray has a pretty sweet article for those of us who have tried instant manifestation but not found it yet. She’s put together some pretty solid reasons for why that is so and what to do about it. Here’s her great article:
Instant manifestation. It’s a nice thing, right? You think of something you want, you ask for it in ritual or wish for it with one-pointed intent, and it shows up! Boom, there’s the house you needed to live in, or a new love interest who’s at least superficially suitable or a job. You ask; it shows up.
Do you remember a few years ago, when it seemed all you had to do was carelessly think hard about something and it appeared five minutes later? Life had been speeding up mercilessly. Events were coming quicker; it was increasingly difficult to keep one’s balance through the whirlwind of change. Yet, despite this discomfort, there was the comforting sensation that if you wanted or needed something badly enough and could clear your own issues out of the way for five minutes, you could bring a desired outcome to pass.
Of course, this speedy service had its downside. Many times, the letter of the request was met, while the spirit was sadly lacking. Some times, this was clearly intentional and done with enormously audible chuckles from the deities. I had a friend who was using an abundance affirmation for months — “I am surrounded by wealth.” She looked up one day from her crap-paying nanny job, and realized that she was, in fact, surrounded by wealth. Other people’s wealth. Ha, ha!
One time, I put together a whole list of qualities I desired in my next partner. One of them was “he’s a great father.” Hoping to have a family at some point, it seemed prudent to ask for good parenting skills. The next man I fell head over heels in love with had two teenaged children and a vasectomy. He was, indisputably, a great father to them. Aren’t They funny?
Anyway, despite these teensy little glitches, we still got quick responses. Ask, receive. Ask, receive. It seemed to be a natural rhythm. I for one got quite used to it.
If you happen to be somebody who never really felt like anything they wanted showed up, no matter how they begged or invoked, I’m sorry. But perhaps you’ll find the next part of this article comforting: Mostly it doesn’t happen anymore.
